Blue

I got Blue in 2004 when I decided to get back into horses after a 20-year hiatus. He was just three at the time -- absolutely the wrong horse for a green owner/rider. He is, frankly, not the right horse for me. He needs someone smaller, with more experience, and who will give him a job. I would be willing to let him go, but only to an experienced clicker trainer. Would he do well in a non-clicker home? Yes. But he'll SHINE with a clicker trainer. This is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of horse. Seriously. He's one of the special ones.

Here's some video of me clicker training him to stand on a pedestal:

And here is a clip of some free-leading:

Check out The Clicker Horse Diary for lots of stories from the first two years with Blue, Guin, and my other horses.

My sweet Blue boy. He's a small horse -- just 14.3 hands -- but he's beautifully put together. He has a terrific sense of humor, and he's smart as a whip. I truly can't rave enough about this horse. He's absolutely wasted on me. His potential is incredible.
Blue and his trainer, Leslie Peeples. She's AMAZING!
Blue and Guin, relaxing in the paddock. I just love to see a horse curl up like this.
Trotting in the paddock. He really has lovely movement!
